Waffle makers recalled for burn hazard
About 456,000 PowerXL Stuffed Wafflizers are being recalled.
A waffle maker is being recalled because nearly three dozen people have reported being burned by it.
About 456,000 PowerXL Stuffed Wafflizers are being recalled.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says hot pieces of the waffle or stuffing can come flying out of the waffle maker while it’s being used or when it’s opened.
There have been 34 burn injuries, three have required medical attention.
This affects models ESWM02 (5") and ESWM03 (7").
