South Main Street in Wake Forest reopens after car crashes into utility pole
A portion of South Main Street (U.S. Route 1A) was closed Wednesday from East Holding Avenue to West Holding Avenue due to a single-car crash.

WAKE FOREST, N.C. — A portion of South Main Street (U.S. Route 1A) was closed Wednesday from East Holding Avenue to West Holding Avenue due to a single-car crash.
The road has reopened.
Around 7:30 a.m., a car veered off the road, striking and breaking a utility pole, police said. There was no update on the condition of the driver.
Wake Forest police were on scene directing traffic.
