RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh shooting sent one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday evening.

Police responded to a report of a male with a gunshot wound around 6:02 p.m. at the 2800 block of Orchard Trace Way.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Several homes and vehicles were struck because of gunfire; however, no additional injuries exist.

Two individuals have been detained at this time.

An investigation is underway and there is no threat to the public.
