Go Ask Dad: What do you call a group of kids?
I'm fascinated by what's known as "collective nouns" which refer to a group of the same type of animal. A bunch of children might be called a "pack," a "herd," or even a "gaggle," but there are other terms to give us a sense of what the group does -- more like collective verbs. Children are verbs.
