WMBF reports Marlboro County deputies found an unresponsive child.
The child was taken to a nearby hospital where an investigation found the child ingested THC gummies.
According to the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office, Susan Long, 60, and Timothy Long, 58, were in charge of the child.
The Longs admitted to having the gummies in the home. During a search, authorities found THC gummies, including some on the floor.
The pair were arrested on Tuesday and charged with unlawful neglect of a child.
Deputies said the child is expected to make a full recovery.
