2 men shot outside hotel on New Bern Avenue in Raleigh

Two men were injured in a shooting near a hotel on New Bern Avenue in Raleigh on Thursday morning.

The shooting happened at 3804 New Bern Avenue near the Budgetel.

One man was shot in the foot and taken to the hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The other man was treated on the scene and then released.

Multiple police officers are on the scene, and forensics seems to be focusing their investigation on a specific hotel room, as well as a series of shell casings on the ground.

Investigators are working to determine who shot at the two men.

There’s no suspect information, but the investigation is ongoing.
